Daft Punk's Heresia

Hello,

Just found the website of the Frankfurt-born, L.A-based photographer Beatrice Neumann.

The kind of really gifted tattooed sharp-sighted girl who will add some alien substances to the mix when apocalypse arrives.

Here is a masterpiece about my dear fellows the Daft Punk : she added some blind platinum mini Barbie dolls to the heavy Slimane-designed leather jackets and giant helmets, along with some ridiculously cool inflatable electric guitars.
The screaming silence stays still in her dead pictures, reminds me somewhere of the Ellen Von Unwerth's aesthetic in a more plastic frozen sexiness.

Souvenirs from the clear crisp air of Electroma and the slowing movement of earth in Bercy (2007) and at the Eurockennes (2006), as if the air had thickened.

I had forgotten about this, the narcotic of the crowd. This is why you come to hear music. To stop being yourself, to let that thing that you supposedly were go, and just be part of a mob, synchronized by the heavy beat.
